This recipe is from a Junior League cookbook. My boys like this during the cold winter months and I like it because it is quick and easy. I have used 2% or even skim milk in this recipe.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my soup turned out really bland. I followed the recipe exactly, but it just didn't have much flavor.

Not a fan. The soup was too thick and the fries were soggy. I think I'll stick to my regular potato soup recipe.

I thought this soup was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping for. I think I would have preferred a more traditional potato soup recipe.

I loved the idea of this soup, but I found the execution to be lacking. The fries didn't stay crispy for long, and the cheese became a bit too thick and gooey. I think I would prefer a version of this soup that used roasted potatoes instead of fries.
