This stuff is so beautiful and delicious, you and your Valentine may not even need the cake. This will absolutely work even if you use frozen raspberries, but nothing compares to the flavor of the sauce if you can somehow find and use fresh raspberries.

The sauce was a little runny for my liking, but it still tasted great. I think I'll try reducing it a bit more next time.

This sauce was a bit too tart for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference. I might try adding a little bit of sugar next time.

I'm not a huge fan of raspberries, but this sauce was surprisingly good. The sweetness of the berries was balanced out by the tartness of the lemon juice.
