Frikadeller Meatballs image

This is a traditional recipe from Denmark. In 5th grade my son's class had a week of international recipes.....back then Mom's were allowed to make homemade recipes and bring them into the school. This was always one of my son's favorite recipes, and the one he chose to share with his class in 5th grade.

These meatballs were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I'll add some more liquid next time.

These meatballs were a bit too spicy for my taste. I think I'll use less chili powder next time.

I'm not a fan of ground pork, so I used ground beef instead. The meatballs still turned out great! They were so flavorful and moist.

These meatballs were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I might have overcooked them. But the flavor was still good, so I'll give them another try.
