Frozen Cranberry Pineapple Dessert image

This dessert is very simple to prepare and is great for a hot evening after a barbecue, Just mix the ingredients and put it in the freezer until you are ready to serve. Recipe of Abbeylou/betterrecipes

20 oz can crushed pineapple
20 oz can jelly cranberry sauce
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp granulated sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Using a mixer on low speed, blend cream cheese until smooth, gradually add cranberry sauce until well blended, stir in pineapple mixing well. Pour into a 9x13 -inch freezer proof dish sprayed lightly with non stick spray and freeze 3-4 hours, Scoop into dessert dishes and serve with a wedge of fresh pineapple.
