Fruit in a Cone image

Snacks go from just fruit to fun when you put them in fun-to-eat containers.

3 cups cut-up fresh fruit
4 ice cream cones
4 teaspoons honey
4 teaspoons granola, miniature semisweet chocolate chips or chopped peanuts

Steps:

  • Place 3/4 cup of the fruit in each cone. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon granola. Serve immediately.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my fruit cones turned out really bland. I followed the recipe exactly, but the fruit just didn't have any flavor. Maybe I used the wrong kind of fruit? I'm not sure.

This recipe was a total disaster! The waffle cones were too hard and the fruit was too sour. I ended up throwing the whole thing away.

I thought this recipe was just okay. The fruit was good, but the waffle cones were a little soggy. I think I would have preferred to use a different type of cone, like a sugar cone.
