1 tablespoon butter
3 onions, sliced
1 pound fresh okra, sliced in 1/8 inch pieces
1 ½ teaspoons ground turmeric

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat and saute onion until translucent. Stir in okra and turmeric. Reduce heat to low and cook 15 minutes, or until tender.
