Fudge Walnut Pie image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup sour cream
2 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted and cooled
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (3 1/2-ounce) package chocolate fudge or instant chocolate pudding mix (4-serving size)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 Keebler® Ready Crust® graham cracker pie crust
2 cups non-dariy frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • 1. In medium bowl whisk together sour cream and chocolate. Gradually whisk in milk. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk about 1 minute or until thickened. Fold in nuts.2. Spread pudding mixture in crust. Spread whipped topping over pudding mixture. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until set. Garnish as desired. Store in refrigerator.

I'm not a huge fan of walnuts, but I decided to give this pie a try anyway. I'm so glad I did! The filling is rich and chocolatey, and the walnuts add a nice crunch. I'll definitely be making this pie again.

This pie was easy to make and turned out beautifully. The only thing I would change is to use a darker chocolate for the filling. Otherwise, it was perfect!
