German Apple Crumble image

Got this from my mother-in-law in Germany. I had to convert it from German so I took some liberties. I was confused at first - I wasn't sure if the ingredients would combine correctly, but I just had to work it out. :-) Still, it came out so good! Give it a try PS You can use plums instead of apples too.

I've tried several apple crumble recipes and this one is by far the best. The crumb topping is crispy and flavorful and the apples are perfectly tender.
