German Chocolate Bars image

This is a quick easy version of a german chocolate cake...I didnt have all day to bake one and make the homemade coconut pecan frosting..so this is what i came up with ..enjoy

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 stick melted butter
1 box pillsbury chocolate fudge brownie mix
1 container coconut pecan frosting
1 1/2 c milk chocolate chips
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 container whipped topping

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350* Pour melted butter in the bottom of a glass 9x13 baking dish, Sprinkle entire brownie mix over butter. Dollop the coconut pecan frosting all over the brownie mix, Sprinkle all the chocolate chips over the frosting,
  • 2. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the chocolate chips, Place in oven Bake 35 min. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Cut into 12 bars, and serve with a dollop of whipped topping
