German Potato Salad (microwave) image

I very seldom cook up dishes in my microwave but this one comes from my Kenmore microwave cookbook that came with my first microwave in 1985. This is so good and easy too. I have been making it ever since.

I'm not a big fan of German potato salad, but this recipe is actually pretty good. The potatoes are cooked perfectly and the dressing is flavorful.

This potato salad is a great way to use up leftover potatoes.

I'm not a fan of vinegar-based potato salads, but this one is actually really good. The vinegar flavor is subtle and doesn't overpower the potatoes.

This recipe is a great starting point, but I like to add my own personal touches. I usually add some diced celery and onion to the potatoes.

I found that the potatoes were a little too soft for my taste. I would recommend cooking them for a shorter amount of time.

I love that this recipe uses the microwave. It saves so much time and the potatoes still come out perfectly cooked.

I've tried this recipe and it was a hit! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the dressing was delicious. I added some extra bacon and chives for a little extra flavor.
