Green Herb Sauce image

Jalapeño chile turns up the heat on a colorful, pesto-style sauce.

1 cup lightly packed fresh cilantro
1/4 cup lightly packed fresh parsley
2 tablespoons lightly packed fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 to 1 jalapeño chile, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in food processor or blender. Cover and process, stopping to scrape sides if necessary, until smooth.
  • Serve sauce with grilled pork, poultry or fish.
