Grilled Collard Greens image

It doesn't get more southern than collard greens. Well maybe if you smothered them in cream gravy...I digress. This recipe is a twist on the southern favorite that makes it to our dinner table at least once a month...hold the gravy, of course.

These greens were a little bitter for my taste, but I think that's just the nature of collard greens. Otherwise, they were cooked perfectly and had a nice smoky flavor.

I'm not usually a fan of collard greens, but these grilled ones were surprisingly delicious! The smokiness from the grill really brought out the flavor.
