These tarts were a disappointment. The shrimp and grits filling was bland, and the pastry crust was tough. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I won't be making these again.

I'm not usually a fan of grits, but these tarts changed my mind. The shrimp and cheese add so much flavor that the grits are almost like a supporting actor, playing a subtle but important role in the overall dish. I'd definitely recommend this recipe
