Grog Spicy and Sweet image

Grog came about when Admiral Sir Edward Vernon, while trying to cut costs and conserve supplies on the open sea, diluted the crew's rum with water. Eventually, the crew realized the drink tasted better served hot. For a more flavorful drink try this recipe using apple juice!

I found this grog to be a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try reducing the amount of honey next time.
