Ground Beef Noodle Soup image

Very tasty and hearty soup in less than 30 minutes

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 large onion diced
4 clove garlic minced
1 large carrot sliced thinly
8 c water
2 beef bouillon
1 pkg au jus mix
2 bay leaves
1 tsp black pepper
8 oz egg noodles cooked in boiling salted water and drained

Steps:

  • 1. Brown the beef with the onion, garlic, and carrot. Add the water bouillon, Au Jus mix, bay leaves and black pepper. Bring to a boil reduce to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes. Add the cooked noodles and simmer 5 more minutes.
  • 2. Remove and discard bay leaves before serving.

I'm not a big fan of ground beef soup, but this recipe was actually pretty good. The soup was flavorful and the egg noodles were a nice touch. I would definitely make this soup again.

This soup was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I think the flavor was a little bland. I might try adding some more spices next time.
