Hearty Breakfast Muffins image

Yummy and filling, best served warm

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 c old fashioned oats
1 1/2 c flour
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c raisins
1/4 c pecan
1 1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 stick butter, room temperature

Steps:

  • 1. pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2. combine the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • 3. mix together in another bowl the wet ingredients
  • 4. add the wet to the dry and mix well. divide batter equally in muffin tins ( also can be made as a loaf) bake for 30 mins or when a toothpick comes out clean.
