Hearty Hamburger Supper image

My husband and I are retired and enjoy home cooking. This hearty stovetop meal proves it need not be time-consuming. I gave this recipe to a young neighbor who tells me she uses it often since she's a nurse and is always short of time. -Georgene Remm Wausa, Nebraska

This recipe is a great way to get your kids to eat vegetables. My kids loved the onion rings, and they didn't even realize they were eating vegetables.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my onion rings turned out soggy. I think I might have cooked them at too low of a temperature.

This recipe is a bit high in calories, but it's worth it for a special occasion. I made it for my husband's birthday, and he loved it.

I added some shredded lettuce and tomato to my burger, and it was perfect. It was like a classic hamburger, but with the added bonus of cheese, bacon, and onion rings.

I'm not a big fan of onion rings, so I omitted them from this recipe. The burger was still delicious without them.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover hamburger patties. I had some leftover patties from a cookout, and this recipe was the perfect way to use them up.

I thought the recipe was a bit too complicated for a weeknight meal. I ended up simplifying it by using pre-made hamburger patties and frozen onion rings.

The patties were a bit dry, but the overall flavor of the burger was good.

The onion rings were the best part of this dish. They were crispy and flavorful, and they added a nice crunch to the burger.

I loved how easy this recipe was to follow. Even though I'm not a very experienced cook, I was able to make this dish without any problems.
