Hobo Beans image

This recipe has some of the same ingredients as my chili, but it will be a hit no matter where or when you serve it!

Number Of Ingredients 12

3 large cans favorite baked beans
1 lb hamburger
1 lb italian sausage, no casings
1 lb polish sausage
1 lb bacon, cut into pieces
1 large green peppers, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c molasses
4-6 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Fry up all meat. Set aside.
  • 2. Cut up peppers and onions, set aside.
  • 3. In a large baking pan or casserole dish, place bake beans, add meat mixture and peppers and onions and mix well.
  • 4. Add all seasoning including molasses and brown sugar, cover and bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours.
