Holiday Oatmeal Raisin Cookies image

Another great recipe from my mother's recipe box. These cookies are great. This does not make a doughy batter, but they come out just fine. These go over well at Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. I've taken them to potlucks. You can use different colored candy pieces and have them at halloween and New Year's.

These cookies were too dry. I had to dunk them in milk to eat them.

These cookies were a little bland. I think they needed more spices.

These cookies were a little too sweet for my taste, but my kids loved them. They were also a little dry, but I think that was because I overbaked them. Next time, I'll bake them for a few minutes less.
