Number Of Ingredients 8

1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup onion, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon onion powder)
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup canola oil
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Place first 6 ingredients in a food processor or blender (or use a handheld blender) and process until smooth. Add the oil in a steady stream with the machine running until the mixture comes together in an emulsion. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week. *If you are using onion powder instead of chopped onion you could also shake this up in a jar with a tightly sealed lid.

Not a fan. The dressing is too thick and the flavors are just not my thing.

This dressing is a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try adding a bit more vinegar next time to see if that helps.

I'm not a huge fan of Catalina dressing, but this recipe is pretty good. It's not too sweet or tangy, and it has a nice balance of flavors.

I followed the recipe exactly, and the dressing turned out great. It's a little sweet for my taste, but I just added a bit more vinegar to balance it out.

I was skeptical at first, but this dressing really is as good as everyone says. It's tangy, sweet, and has the perfect amount of spice. I used it on a salad with grilled chicken and avocado, and it was amazing.

This Catalina dressing is a game-changer! It's so easy to make and tastes way better than anything you can buy in the store. I'll never go back to store-bought dressing again!
