Homemade Syrup image

My family and I have enjoyed this recipe over store bought syrups. It's has a homemade Mrs. ButterWorths's flavor and has a caramely flavor. Enjoy on Pancakes, Waffles, or in peanut butter. ;)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 c water
1/2 c butter
2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp imitation vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter and water in a sauce pan.
  • 2. Add vanilla and sugar. (If using real vanilla, use 1 tsp.) Stir on medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Makes 2 cups of syrup
