ICING IN THE CAKE GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE image

I got this recipe from our local band foundation cookbook. One of my coworkers told me she had it before and how good it was. I made this and took it to a family get together and everyone wanted the recipe.

I'm not a big fan of German Chocolate Cake, but this recipe changed my mind. The cake was moist and flavorful, and the icing was the perfect balance of sweetness and richness. I'll definitely be making this cake again.

This cake was a disappointment. It was dry and bland. The icing was too sweet and didn't complement the cake at all.
