Impossibly Easy Chili Pie Recipe - (4.5/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb. ground beef
1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
1 med. onion, chopped
1 envelope chili seasoning mix
1 can sliced ripe olives, drained (2 1/4oz)
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. Bisquick mix
1 c. milk
2 eggs
sour cream, if desired
salsa, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400. Spray 9" glass pie plate w/ cooking spray. Cook beef in skillet over med. heat 8-10 mins., stirring occasionally, till brown; drain. Stir in tomatoes, onion, chili seasoning mix. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle w/ olives & 1/2 c. of the cheese Stir Bisquick, milk, and eggs in med. bowl w/ wire whisk or fork till blended. Pour into pie plate. Bake 30 mins. Top w/ remaining cheese. Bake 2-3 min. longer to melt cheese. Let stand 5 mins. before serving. Serve w/ sour cream & salsa, if desired.

This was so easy to make and so delicious! I used a pre-made pie crust to save time, and the rest of the recipe came together in no time. The filling was flavorful and the crust was perfectly flaky. I will definitely be making this again.
