3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
1 medium red bell pepper, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (4 oz)
1 cup uncooked whole kasha (buckwheat groats)
1 egg, beaten
2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup uncooked farfalle (bow-tie) pasta (2 oz)
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

This recipe was really easy to make and it turned out great! The kasha and bow-tie pasta cooked perfectly and the vegetables were still a bit crunchy. I would definitely recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a quick and easy side dish.

This recipe was a bit bland for my taste. I added some extra salt and pepper and it was much better. The kasha and bow-tie pasta were cooked well, but I would have liked more vegetables in the dish.
