Each month our power company features a recipe and it comes in with the bill. This was the recipe this month and oh my goodness this is so so good and very easy. The recipe only made one pie and a deep dish at that. Well I didn't have a deep dish crust but I did have 2 regular so I made 1 1/2 of the recipe and it worked great....

Not bad, but not great either. The crust was a bit too dry and the filling was a little too sweet. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

This pie was a little too sweet for my taste, but my family loved it. The crust was flaky and the filling was creamy. I would recommend using a semisweet chocolate instead of a bittersweet chocolate if you don't like your desserts too sweet.
