Key Lime Pie image

It tastes just like the pie, minus the crust (now if they would just invent a graham cracker flavored liqueur...).

½ lime, cut into wedges
4 fluid ounces vodka
1 ½ fluid ounces frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 twists lime zest, garnish

Steps:

  • Place the lime wedges in the bottom of a mixing glass and muddle them well. Cover with ice, and pour in vodka, lime juice, and vanilla. Shake well, then strain into two stemmed cocktail glasses. Garnish each with a twist of lime.

I followed the recipe exactly and my pie turned out great! The only thing I would change is to add a little more sugar to the filling. Other than that, it was perfect.
