Kona Grill's Big Island Meatloaf Recipe - (4.5/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 21

Meatlof
1 cup celery diced
1 cup carrot diced
1 cup onion diced
1 TBS minced garlic
1 TBS olive oil
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 cups bread crumbs
3 eggs
2 1/2 pounds ground meat
1 pound bulk sweet Italian sausage
Mushroom Ragu
8 ounces mushrooms
2 Tbs butter
Shoyu Cream Sauce
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 TBS cornstarch
2 TBS water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Heat 1 TBS oil and saute celery, carrot, onion and garlic In a large bowl mix vegetables with remaining ingredients, including meat Place in a baking pan, press down and bake for two hours In a pan saute the mushrooms in butter Bring cream and soy sauce to a oil. mix cornstarch with water and add paste to cream and cook until thickened To serve slice meatloaf and place mushrooms and sauce over meat
