Layered Meatball Bake image

I found this meatball recipe in my stack of recipes that i have collected over the years.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pkg stuffing mix, chicken
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/4 c milk
1 pkg ( 1 lb. ) frozen meatballs
2 c peas, frozen petite
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 400*
  • 2. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on pkg.
  • 3. Mix soup and milk in a 13x9 baking dish. Stir in meatballs and peas; top with cheese and stuffing.
  • 4. Bake 20-25 mins. or until heated through.
  • 5. Variation: Prepare as directed, substituting 1 can ( 14 1/2 oz ) diced tomatoes for the soup, omitting milk and using Italian-flavored meatballs and shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese.
