I found this cookie recipe a number of years ago in a Ladies Home Journal magazine, and it's been one of my favorites ever since. It's very delicate and a bit crumbly, so a bit difficult to slice, but well worth it. It melts in your mouth.

The crumb topping on this recipe was a bit too dry for my taste, but the lemon flavor was spot-on. I think I'll try making it again with a different crumb topping recipe.

I found this recipe to be a bit bland. I think it would have been better with a little more lemon zest or juice.

This recipe was a bit too lemony for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference. The crumb topping was delicious, though.
