Low Carb, Low Sugar Hot Cocoa image

Creamy and soothing with just a hint of cinnamon. Check it out and you will find that it is actually healthy for you. Another great Andrew Weil,MD recipe.(UPDATE-2006) It has been pointed out that this recipe does not live up to its name. I posted it as it was printed and although it does not meet low carb standards, it is a very delicious drink.

I'm not a big fan of stevia, but I didn't find it to be overpowering in this recipe. The chocolate flavor really shines through.

This hot cocoa is a great way to use up leftover almond milk. I always have some on hand, so it's nice to have a recipe that uses it up.

I love that this hot cocoa is made with real cocoa powder. It gives it a much richer flavor than the mixes that are made with artificial chocolate flavoring.
