Sometimes I add carrots. I have also made this recipe up until the tomato addition, omitted the tomatoes and instead added light cream and made New England Clam Chowder adding a little flour to thicken. Enjoy!

This recipe is way too complicated. I ended up just throwing everything in a pot and hoping for the best. It turned out okay, but I wouldn't make it again.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my chowder turned out bland. I think I might have used old clams.

This is a great recipe for a classic clam chowder. It's easy to make and always turns out delicious. I like to add a little extra garlic and thyme, but that's just my personal preference.

I made this chowder for a potluck and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it. I especially liked the addition of the sherry and the Old Bay seasoning. They really gave the chowder a unique flavor.
