Steps:
- 1. Microwave butter with marshmallows on high setting for 3 minutes. Stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in cereal, mixing until well coated. Note: You must work fast or it starts to set.
- 2. Using a buttered spatula, press the mixture evenly into a 13x9x2 inch pan which has been buttered or sprayed with nonstick spray or lined with parchment/wax paper.
- 3. Cut into squares when the mixture cools. Makes 12 large squares.
- 4. Hint: Just before adding the cereal to the mix, you may add a dash or two of salt and/or a tablespoon of vanilla extract.
