Marvelous Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies image

Found under a lid from a Quaker Oatmeal container back in the 70's! I am going through my family favorite clippings and was delighted to find this oldie but goodie to share with Zaar chefs. Be sure to plan for the 2 hour chilling time.

The only thing I would change about this recipe is to add a little more salt. I found that the cookies were a little bland without it.

These peanut butter oatmeal cookies are the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy. They're also packed with flavor, thanks to the peanut butter, oats, and chocolate chips.
