Number Of Ingredients 19

⅓ cup milk
⅓ cup bread crumbs
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ pounds ground beef
4 cups beef broth
1 (28 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
1 (12 ounce) can corn, drained
2 cups chopped celery
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small zucchini, chopped
½ cup dry red wine
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon dried basil
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

I'm not a big fan of minestrone soup, but this recipe is really good. The meatballs are so flavorful and the broth is so rich and hearty.

This soup is a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. My kids love the meatballs, and they don't even realize they're eating vegetables.

I made this soup in my slow cooker and it turned out great! I just threw all the ingredients in the pot and let it cook on low for 8 hours. It was perfect for a busy weeknight.

I'm a vegetarian, so I made this soup without the meatballs. It was still delicious! I added some extra beans and lentils to make it more hearty.
