Another "ready in seconds" recipe for a quick snack or food gift. Honestly, unwrapping the Rolos takes longer than any other part, except cooling! My favorite cooking blogger, Christy Jordan, puts the pretzels & Rolos in an oven for a few minutes, but 20-30 seconds in a microwave works just as well. (My microwave takes 24...

56 thin pretzels shapes (squares or wheels)
12 oz bag of rolo candies, unwrapped
56 pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Arrange pretzels around the edges of a microwave-safe plate.
  • 2. Top each pretzel with an unwrapped Rolo candy.
  • 3. Microwave for 20-30 seconds, or until Rolo looks soft, but before it melts!
  • 4. Remove from microwave and press a pecan half into each soft Rolo.
  • 5. Cool before storing in airtight containers.
  • 6. Put into decorative tins for quick & delicious holiday gifts.
