My mother gave this recipe to me in the 1980's.I have served this at all most ever Christmas Party ,since then .These are quick and so eazy. You can use shrimp, but I like the Crawfish better. All Wal-Marts carry them in the seafoof section, some times they are frozen. Most time they are near the Jars of oyster's.

I added a bit of cayenne pepper to the filling for a little extra spice. It was the perfect addition.

I'm allergic to shellfish, so I substituted chicken in this recipe. The pies were still delicious.

These pies were a bit more work than I expected, but they were worth it. The filling was rich and creamy and the crust was perfectly flaky.

I was skeptical about making these pies because I'm not a great baker, but they were surprisingly easy to make and they turned out delicious. I will definitely be making them again.
