- 1. saute the onion in the butter,then place in a large saucepan,butter and all.place all the ingrediants in the saucepan,and heat,until the cheese melts,stir often,use a low heat.then serve.with crackers,i keep mine in a small crockpot to keep it warm,its better that way.tastes like oysters,but,its not.
