Time 18m

Yield 8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
Salt and freshly ground pepper
2 (1-pound) pork tenderloins, cut into medallions and pounded thin
Olive oil
16 (6-inch) wooden skewers, soaked in cold water for 30 minutes

Steps:

  • Heat grill to high. Whisk together the molasses, mustard, and honey in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Skewer 1 piece of pork onto 2 skewers so that the meat lies flat. Brush the meat with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until cooked through, brushing with the glaze every minute. Remove from the grill and brush with more of the glaze. Serve immediately.

The glaze was a little too sweet for my taste, but I was able to balance it out by adding a little bit of vinegar.

I couldn't find molasses at the store, so I used honey instead. It worked just fine.

I marinated the pork for 24 hours before cooking and it made the skewers extra flavorful.

I used chicken instead of pork and it turned out great! The glaze is so versatile.

The pork was a little dry for my taste, but the glaze was delicious.

I love how easy this recipe is to follow. I'm not a very experienced cook, but I was able to make these skewers without any problems.

These pork skewers were a hit at my last party! The glaze was tangy and sweet, and the pork was cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be making these again.
