Mom's banana bread recipe is so good I remember her making this for the Holiday's and for Birthday's

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. With a electric mixer beat together sugar and butter until creamy.
- 3. Add bananas until combined about 30 seconds.
- 4. Add slightly beaten eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk and mix until combined about 30 seconds.
- 5. In a large bowl stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger sift ingredients together and add to wet ingredients mix until combined
- 6. Stir in nuts by hand and pour into well greased 9 by 5 bread pan or 4 mini loaf pan's.
- 7. For 9 by 5 loaf pan bake 55 to 60 minutes. For 4 mini loaf pan's bake 40 to 45 minutes.
- 8. The loaves should be dark golden brown and dry to the touch. A toothpick should come out clean when inserted into the center.
