Mom's Polish Sausage image

My mom used to make this when I was a kid...if only my kids would let me make it.:(Tastes really good with corn bread). Enjoy! (I use turkey sausage now and it's just as good!)

I love this recipe! The sausage is always cooked perfectly and the sauerkraut is delicious. I like to add a little bit of brown sugar to the sauerkraut for extra flavor.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover kielbasa. I usually make a double batch and freeze half of it for later. It's also a great recipe for a potluck or picnic.
