Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Put out a stick of butter to soften. Mix together 1 yellow cake mix, 1 small package instant vanilla pudding, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup canola oil, 1/2 cup rum, and 4 eggs. Bake for 50 minutes. After you get it cool enough to remove from the pan, but still warm, punch holes all over outside of cake with a toothpick. Mix together glaze. 6-7 Tablespoons of softened butter, 1 cup confectioners sugar, and about an oz. of rum. Zap very briefly in microwave, get it liquid, but not cooked. Pour over cake.

[email protected]This cake was a bit too boozy for my taste, but my husband loved it. He said it was the best rum cake he's ever had. I'll probably try making it again with less rum next time.

[email protected]This rum cake is a definite crowd-pleaser! It was moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. I used dark rum, which gave the cake a deep, rich flavor. It was a hit at my party, and everyone asked for the recipe.
