Monte Cristo Waffle- Sandwiches image

I saw this recipe on the Rachael Ray Show and thought it was so great and wanted to add it to my other waffle sandwiches and pancakes. I tweaked it a little. Great Recipe- my family loved it- we had a side salad with it like she suggested. ENJOY! NOTE: Just think of all the othesandwichhe combinations to put into the waffle...

I'm allergic to eggs. Can I use a different type of batter for the waffles?

I'm not a big fan of ham, so I used turkey instead. It was still delicious.

I didn't have any maple syrup on hand, so I used honey instead. It worked just as well.

The waffles were a bit too crispy for my taste, but the overall flavor of the sandwiches was great.
