My Version of Caramel, Salted Cocoa image

Make sure to use a good quality cocoa for this one. The better the cocoa the better the outcome. Please don't be tempted to not use the SALT...it enhances the dark depths of the bittersweet chocolate and the sweet golden caramel. The alcohol in this drink is strictly optional. It is so good both ways, you won't be sorry.

This drink is a little too rich for my taste. I think I'll try it with half the amount of butter next time.

I'm not a huge fan of caramel, but I absolutely loved this drink. The saltiness of the caramel really balances out the sweetness.

I can't believe I've never thought to add salt to my caramel cocoa before. It's such a simple addition, but it makes a world of difference.

This is a great recipe for a special occasion. It's a little more work than your average hot chocolate, but it's worth it.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my salted caramel cocoa didn't turn out creamy at all. It was more like hot chocolate.

This recipe is too complicated. I don't have time to make all of those different ingredients.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my salted caramel cocoa turned out bitter. I think I might have overcooked the caramel.

I'm not a big fan of salted caramel, but this drink was surprisingly good. The saltiness is very subtle and it really enhances the flavor of the chocolate.

This is the most delicious salted caramel cocoa I've ever had! The flavors are so rich and decadent, and the saltiness is the perfect balance to the sweetness. I love that you used dark chocolate, it really makes the drink extra special.
