Sometimes the most simple recipes are the best... and that's the case with this apple crisp. Warm, tender apples and a crunchy, buttery, cinnamon sugar crumble, what's not to love? Serve this no oats apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you have the perfect fall dessert.

Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 350 and butter a baking dish. (For this recipe I stick to the butter but you can use something else to grease pan if you prefer.)
- 2. Put apples in dish and spread out. Sprinkle apples with water.
- 3. Put flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Add butter to this with your fingers rubbing till it all resembles a coarse crumby mixture.
- 4. Spread this over the apples in the dish.
- 5. Bake for about 30 minutes. Just until the crust is browned nicely.
