My inlaws were from Newark, NJ and this is a dish that my Mother-in-Law would make and something that you can get in a greasy spoon all over New Jersey. I have shared it at a covered dish at work as part of diversity day here in Houston, TX and nobody ever heard of it before but everyone loved it! Its an interesting regional way...

- 5. Hubby and I have different "favorite" hot dogs. I was raised on Ball Park all Beef and he was raised on Nathans or Hebrew national Kosher Franks. When we make this dish we buy 2 packages of hotdogs, throw some of mine in and some of his in and freeze the leftover ones. Yes, we really do this. We really do! It has kept the peace for 26 years!
