Steps:
- 1. Fill pie plate 3/4 full with apple slices.
- 2. Mix cinnamon with nuts and sprinkle over apples.
- 3. In saucepan melt butter. Remove from heat.
- 4. Add sugar and stir.
- 5. Add egg, flour, and salt. Mix well.
- 6. Pour evenly over apples.
- 7. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
