I'm not a huge fan of custard pie, but this recipe is pretty good. The filling is smooth and creamy, and the crust is flaky and buttery.

This custard pie was a disappointment. The filling was too thick and the crust was too dry. I think I might have overbaked it.

I was so excited to try this recipe, but unfortunately it didn't turn out well for me. The filling was too runny and the crust was soggy. I think I might have overmixed the batter or baked it at too low a temperature.

This recipe is a great starting point for a classic custard pie. I made a few changes to suit my taste, such as using half-and-half instead of milk and adding a bit of nutmeg to the filling. It turned out delicious!
