No-Peek Casserole image

We found this recipe in a garage sale find. It took us awhile to getting around to making it, but I can't stress enough that this IS WONDERFUL! Think of all of your fondest memories of Mom's roast, then imagine it BETTER. That's this recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 lb beef roast, cubed
1 c tomato soup
2 Tbsp tapioca
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3 potatoes, chunked
3 carrots, chunked
3 stick celery, cut up
3 onions, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Put everything in a plastic baking bag. Seal tight; pierce a few holes in baking bag to let out steam. Put bag in roaster or large cake pan. Bake 5 hours at 250*F. DO NOT PEEK WHILE BAKING. Remove and serve hot.
