O' Henry Bars with Rice Krispies image

These bars are from my mom's cookbook and a hit with everyone. At work potlucks my co-workers request this everytime!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 c white sugar
1 c white karo syrup
1 1/2 c peanut butter
6 c rice krispies
1 pkg nestle chocolate chips
1 pkg nestle butterscotch chips

Steps:

  • 1. Heat until ready to boil: sugar and karo syrup, take off burner. Add: peanut butter and mix until smooth. Pour over rice krispies in a large bowl and mix. Press into 9x13 buttered pan. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips, frost bars.
