The recipe makes the most of a handy packaged brownie mix, so they're fast to fix. If you don't have the mini M&Ms, use chocolate chips instead. Our kids love these rich fudgy squares with a scoop of ice cream.-Jennifer Trenhaile, Emerson, Nebraska

Meh. They were okay, but I've had better. The flavor was a bit bland, and the texture was a bit dry.

Not bad! The flavor was good, but the texture was a bit too dense for my taste. I think I'll try adding some nuts or chocolate chips next time.
